LEAGUE STANDINGS & TIE-BREAKER CRITERIA

Standings are listed in order from top to bottom based on total Standing Points.

SCORING SYSTEM:

WIN = 3 Points

TIE = 1 Point

LOSS = 0 Points

COACH RESPONSIBILITY:

Per the N Zone Soccer Rulebook (pg. 24), it is the responsibility of the winning team’s coach to report the score and verify its accuracy immediately following the game. Standings are updated and posted weekly.

TIE-BREAKER HIERARCHY:

If teams are tied in total points, the following order is used to determine rank:

Most Standing Points

Head-to-Head (Results of previous matchups between tied teams)

Fewest Goals Against (GA) (Total goals allowed throughout the season)

Note on Multi-Team Ties: In the event of a 3- or 4-way tie where Head-to-Head criteria cannot be used to determine seeding, Fewest Goals Against (GA) will be used as the deciding factor.

FORFEIT NOTE: If a tie-breaker reaches "Goals Against" and a team has a forfeit on their record, that team will automatically be assigned the lower seed.
