MEET N' GREET 

The Winter Youth Basketball Season will kickoff with the Meet N Greet event on Saturday, January 11th, 2025. The Meet N Greet is where players will learn their assigned team, meet their coach, receive their uniforms, come up with a team name, and have a chance to practice at the league venue. There are no games on the day of the Meet N Greet. The season opponent schedule will also be available on the day of the Meet N Greet. You do not need to know who your coach or team is prior to the meet n greet. 

Meet N Greet arrival times for each age division will be posted HERE approximately 2 weeks prior to the scheduled Meet N Greet date. This gives us time to organize and balance teams, as well as schedule ample time for each team to have at the courts on the day of the Meet N Greet. 

COACHES

Official team rosters will be sent to coaches via email 1. After registration ends AND 2. when all teams have been balanced and assigned a coach. This information is sent simultaneously to coaches to ensure all teams have an equal amount of time to reach out to parents and begin practicing. This can take anywhere from 2 - 6 days after registration ends. A courtesy text will also be sent to coaches to inform them that rosters have been emailed. 

We will be hosting a coaches meeting prior to the season to answer any questions (pending date & venue). The league will also communicate with all coaches via email or phone with necessary information before the season as well. This information will be communicated after registration ends, and after we have assigned all coaches to a team. 

General Meet N Greet information for coaches is to arrive at the courts approximately 20 minutes prior to your team's scheduled meet n greet time.  Arrival times have not yet been posted, and will be available approximately 2 weeks before the Meet N Greet date.  At the Meet N Greet Head Coaches should check in at the N Zone table where an N Zone staff member will assist you. Head Coaches will be assigned a coach bag with the players uniforms, team roster, and a game ball. Head Coaches will also receive a coach shirt. Each coach will have a designated area for approximately one hour to practice, hand out uniforms, and come up with a team name. 

PARENTS

Upon arriving at the Meet N Greet please head over to the N Zone table where a staff member will assist you. This is where you will learn your child's team number (needed to read schedule), and be directed to the area where your team is meeting. The season opponent schedule will also be available on this day. Parents should make sure players are ready for a practice with plenty of water and wearing basketball sneakers.  There are no games on the day of the meet n greet and parents should anticipate being at the venue for approximately one hour.
