Batter up! ⚾ We are absolutely thrilled to step up to the plate and kick off an amazing new season of baseball! We know you want to hit the ground running, so we’ve put together your official pre-game playbook with everything you need to know to get ready for opening day.

MEET N’ GREET

Date: Sunday, August 9th

Player Pitch Division (3rd – 5th Grade) Location: East Mesa Baseball Fields (4852 Sonoma Springs Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88011)

T-Ball & Coach Pitch Divisions (Pre-K – 2nd Grade) Location: Ron Galla T-Ball Fields 1601 E. Hadley Ave., Las Cruces, NM 88001

Arrival Times

The arrival times will be available in this posting approximately 2 weeks prior to the meet n greet.

Where to go? Upon arrival, head straight to the N Zone canopy. Our N Zone staff will check you in and point you directly to your team’s designated meeting area.

📞 When Will I Hear From My Coach?

All coaches will receive rosters approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the meet n greet. Once official rosters have been received, early non-mandatory practices may begin. 

• ⚠️ Please Note: Official team uniforms, baseball caps, and practice gear will not be issued prior to the Meet & Greet. If coaches choose to hold early practices, players should bring their own standard athletic gear.

What to Expect

The Meet N’ Greet is the official launchpad for our season! There are no official games on this day. It’s all about building excitement, meeting your sports family, and getting geared up.

When you show up at your division's designated arrival time for the Meet N Greet on Sunday, August 9th, head to the N Zone canopy, and our team will get you squared away and connected with your team.

At the Meet N’ Greet, families will: 

• 👕 Gear Up: Receive your official team baseball uniform and ball cap (plus baseball pants if purchased as an add-on). 
• 🤝 Meet & Greet: High-five your coaches and teammates. 
• 📅 Get the Plan: Pick up your official season opponent schedule. 
• 🏃‍♂️ Hit the Field: Participate in a team practice and help choose a team name!

Please expect to be at the ballpark for about 1 to 1.5 hours total. Players should arrive dressed and ready for a fun practice session!

⚠️ Uniform Note: The Meet N’ Greet is the ONLY day to address uniform sizing or exchange issues, so please make sure your player tries their uniform on right away!

📅 Official Season Schedule & Game Dates

Schedule Release The official opponent schedule will be released on Sunday, August 9th (the day of the Meet N' Greet). You will be able to access it online, and physical copies will be available to pick up at the N Zone canopy!

Weekly Game Times All regular season games will be played on Sunday Afternoons. To help you map out your Sundays, specific game blocks will be finalized on the schedule.

⚡ Weather & Cancellation Policy

Player safety is our absolute top priority. In the event of lightning or severe thunderstorm weather, games may be postponed, rescheduled (typically as a double-header the following week), or cancelled if a layout for a makeup date is completely unavailable.

⚠️ Please note: Refunds are not granted in the event of weather-related game cancellations. In the event of severe weather, we will push out real-time alerts via SMS text and email to keep everyone updated immediately. Let's hope for clear skies and a great season!

📣 Coaches!

All head coaches have been sent their official rosters. We appreciate everything you do to make this league a positive space for these kids! At the Meet N’ Greet, you'll pick up your team's gear bags, practice equipment, uniforms, and your official coach shirt.

Want to match your player's energy? Matching Fan Jerseys available ONLY on the day of the Meet N’ Greet! You can customize them with your player's style, jersey number, or a custom family name. Stop by the N Zone canopy to check out the samples and order yours!

Essential sports gear, sunscreen, water, & snacks will also be available for purchase.
