About Our Program:
N Zone Sports Youth Indoor Basketball League delivers fun and excitement for all kids, whether your favorite player is new to the sport or a rising star. This league is a fun 5 on 5 recreational program that emphasizes skill building through the teaching of fundamentals like dribbling, passing and proper defense. Game day consist of 30 min practice before games followed by 2-20 minutes halves with a continuously running clock that only stops for shooting fouls & timeouts. Practices and games are held on the same day!

Each player is guaranteed ample play time. While scores are kept, coaches emphasize the importance of learning these skills and displaying good sportsmanship over the final score of the game.

Indoor Youth Basketball League Details:

Location - The Armory (Parks and Rec) - 107 S. 4th St, Denton, MD

Day and time - Saturday mornings, 9am-12pm (tentatively)

Meet & Greet Kickoff – Saturday, September 19th, 2026
Regular season - Every Saturday, September 26th to November 14th
Championship Week – Saturday, November 21st, 2026

Registration Includes:
- N Zone Sports Basketball Jersey
- Earned "Value of The Week" Character Value Medal
- Game Basketball, Cones, & Bag issued to Coaches for each team at the Meet N Greet
- End of season award (Achievement Medal, or 1st or 2nd Place Trophy)
- 8 Week Sports Season with guaranteed play time
- Guaranteed Play Time

No team is needed and no requests are needed to join N Zone Sports,
HOWEVER, if you have a coach, buddy, or team request IT MUST BE ADDED IN THE SPECIAL REQUESTS UPON REGISTERING OR IT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED OR CHANGED AFTER REGISTRATION HAS ENDED. If requesting to play for a specific coach or friend please ensure the FIRST & LAST NAME is included, even if they are siblings.

All participants ages 3-12 will be broken into age appropriate groups once registration is complete. Age group 3 to 5 (N Zone Junior - Instructional non-competitive only), will be participating in an instructive program where we focus on learning the basics and fundamentals of the sport! Sessions will be approximately 30-40 minutes each week. Parental participation encouraged.

League Ages 6-7, 8-9, and 10+ (but are subject to change).

Please consider coaching your child’s team. It will be one of the most rewarding experiences you will have and your child will love to have you as “coach”! We offer a coaching rebate discount when you decide to coach plus a custom N Zone Coach's Shirt. We find that the kids respond better to having one of their parents coach the team.

Coaches: All parent volunteer coaches will receive a background check to ensure the safety of your children.
