Recreational League game rules and guidelines

 League rules and guidelines are important to ensure the safety of athletes, coaches, and spectators in addition all leagues should have a set of rules in place that outline how teams will interact with one another on and off the court. These rules should include which age divisions can play together, and how fouls will be handled. Additionally, basketball guidelines on appropriate behavior and sportsmanship that all players must adhere to during play. Referees will be responsible for calling traveling, double dribbling, and monitoring the game clock.

League Schedule and Information Center

 Basketball Sarasota's current weekly practice schedule is Saturday afternoons from 12:45-415. During that time there will be conditioning and basketball games. Please, see divisions and time breakouts. League schedule.

 The first week of training will be meeting the Coaching staff and head coach introduction followed by player evaluations to create balanced teams. Participants should have appropriate footwear, basketball attire, and, a water bottle.
