N Zone Sports Pittsburgh is seeking the best youth sports instructors in the region!

We are growing and impacting more kids each season and we are currently hiring new instructors for our Pittsburgh territory!

We are the top family based multi-sport enrichment program for children in the region. We follow an amazing curriculum for each sport and age group from 2 and up and we infuse life skills and core character values in our weekly sessions! We value leadership, high energy, patience, and passion for working with kids. We offer T-Ball, Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, kickball and more! We are selective as it takes a certain passion to work with kids and run the best sessions for all of our families and schools in the region. Working with children brings with it a sense of security and professionalism so we are very selective with who we ask to join our coaching family and we require 3 clearances in order to work with our children along with having reliable transportation.

This is why we seek coaches who have a huge passion for working with kids in small group settings! We offer many sports, and we know you may not have played all of them, but we have full proof curriculums for all of our sports. We provide paid training, and we have a core training program to prepare you to deliver the very best N Zone Sports has to offer!

We are looking to build onto our team of instructors to accommodate our growth in the Pittsburgh region. N Zone Junior is our program that we offer in many childcare centers, preschools, community rec centers, and park programs throughout the Pittsburgh region. We want the best coaches who have a passion for youth sports and teaching, but more importantly we seek coaches who have experience and the patience to work with young children.

We also offer N Zone Sports clinics and leagues in soccer, flag football and basketball! We are always seeking the best coaches to help teach children from ages 5-14 to coach the skills of each sport, officiate league games and more!

We offer our Junior program for ages 2-6 Mondays through Fridays mainly from 9am-1pm and afterschool sessions are run from 3pm-4:30pm. We offer our park programs for our families after work so they can join us, and we offer these on weeknights from 5pm-8:30pm Monday’s-Thursdays and Saturdays and Sundays depending on the specific clinic, camp or league.

We work with your schedule so if there are times that you may not be available, we can work around those times. Consistency is key to our program. You will be scheduled to work at the same locations and sessions for the duration of the entire season. This allows you and the kids to build a wonderful relationship and they look forward to seeing you each week! Upon successful completion of training, we provide all coaches with N Zone Sports Coaching Shirts and all equipment for the sports you will be coaching. No need to worry about additional expenses, just get out there and deliver the best, most energetic and fun sessions for our families!

Each sport and age group follows a specific curriculum much like a teacher's lesson plan. This is the formula we use to deliver consistency each week, progress each week, and help you deliver a well-rounded, structured, enrichment program. The Junior program is ages 2-6. Now, we certainly know that the level of a 2-year-old is much different than that of a 6-year-old so we offer select age groups at all locations, so the children learn at the best development level for their abilities. We offer ages 2-3, and 4-6.

So, what is the pay scale like for such an amazing program and flexible position? All N Zone Sports Coaches start out with a simple pay scale. All school sessions are paid at $15 per session, which runs for 30-35 min each. All park sessions are paid at $18 per session. A good example would be running two session at one of our amazing centers means you would earn $30 for just about an hour of coaching.

We also offer incentives to earn more! The more availability you have, the more you earn, the longer you stay with N Zone and deliver the best sessions for our families, we offer pay increases based on feedback, how many sessions you can coach, and after a set number of seasons with N Zone sports!

We do have paid training to prepare you for the season to run your very own sessions! You will be an assistant coach and take lead on parts of the curriculum and build up to running sessions yourself while our regular coach assists you. This helps you practice, grow your confidence and fully dive into the world of life changing with N Zone Sports!

Do you have what it takes to be the best N Zone Sports Instructor?

·         Passion for working with children: You must be able to engage and lead a group of children from ages 2 and up with previous experience.

·         Prior Sports Playing/Coaching Experience: experience is preferred, but if you have a passion for children, then we will teach you the curriculum for each of the sports we offer.

·         Professional: Must be Neat in appearance and wear your N Zone Sports Shirt, friendly, Cordial, and courteous with center staff and director and our parents. Must be organized, prepared for each session to deliver the weekly curriculum and have all equipment ready for session.

·         Responsible and reliable: All coaches arrive 15 min prior to each session, checks in with the director or assistant director, delivers the best session using N Zone Sports core values and ethics, Updates rosters weekly, & communicates with School Director and N Zone Sports Director.

·         Energetic / Charismatic: passion and love interacting with young children with the ability to get on their eye level, maintain control and deliver the best session for the kids so they look forward to each weekly session. We are characters so being silly, goofy, fun and capturing their attentions is key!
