Cheerleading

With an estimated 1.5 million participants in all-star cheerleading in the United States alone, cheerleading is on the rise. N Zone Cheerleading offers an introduction to beginner and intermediate cheerleading skills such as jumps, motions, cheers/chants, dance and tumbling for advanced programs.

N Zone Sports Cheerleading is a recreational cheerleading program for children ages 3 to 12. Previous cheerleading experience is not necessary, but a good attitude and high energy is a must. Learning important cheerleading skills are just one of the many benefits children learn from the program. Along with learning exciting, popular cheers, chants and group work, children learn better coordination, flexibility, cooperation with others and self-esteem. Shyness is very often overcome.

When hosted at one of our sports leagues, uniforms will be provided for the girls, but shoes are not included. Wen hosted at a participating preschool, all participants receive an official N Zone Sports jersey to wear during their sessions. N Zone Cheerleading is a great way to participate in an exciting activity while forming lasting friendships. AGES: Starts at age 3.

Program Format

Sports Leagues

N Zone Sports Cheerleading is most commonly offered as a season program offered through our exciting sports leagues. Our cheer programs are offered at both sports leagues and at participating preschools.

Sports League Program- Cheerleaders spend the first part of their session working on technique and learning new cheers. The rest of the time is spent cheering on teams from the sidelines and on the field during the halftime break. Check with your local N Zone Sports to learn what sports cheerleaders will be rooting on.

Preschool Program

N Zone Junior brings the fun with cheerleading programs held at participating preschools for children ages 2-5. Ages may vary at participating schools. Commonly offered in either 4 or 8 week sessions, participants will learn the basics of cheerleading, including jumps and plenty of spirited cheers. If you're looking for a great way to introduce your little gem to cheerleading, this is an awesome start.
