Winter 2026–2027 Youth Cheerleading

Get ready to cheer with N Zone Sports Gwinnett! Our Winter Cheer program introduces young cheerleaders to cheer fundamentals in a fun, supportive environment. Participants will build confidence, make friends, and develop teamwork while learning cheers, motions, and simple routines.

This is beginner and recreational cheer—not competition cheer. Our focus is fun, fundamentals, confidence, and development. No experience or tryouts required!

Throughout the season, we emphasize Leadership, Effort, Teamwork, and Sportsmanship, helping cheerleaders grow both on and off the sidelines.

Program length: 8 weeks
Holiday break: No Saturday activities December 26 or January 2

Age Divisions
Expected divisions are:

Ages 4–6
Ages 7–9
Divisions may adjust based on final enrollment.

Practices & Saturday Activities

Cheerleaders will have one weekday practice on Wednesdays at Rosebud Elementary.

Anticipated practice times:

Ages 4–6: 5:30 PM
Ages 7–9: 6:30 PM

The season begins Saturday, December 5, with a Meet & Greet and introductory practice.

After Week 4, cheerleaders will cheer on the sidelines during N Zone Sports basketball games and perform at halftime. Saturday basketball games begin at 9:00 AM. Each cheer division’s assigned arrival and performance times will be shared before participation begins.

An 8-week beginner and recreational cheer program
Weekly practice and skill development
Sideline cheering and halftime performances after Week 4
A cheer uniform
Pom-poms
An end-of-season award

Optional Add-On: A cheer bag is available for an additional fee.

Uniform Sizing
Please select the correct uniform size during registration. Additional charges may apply if a uniform must be reordered or changed after the order has been submitted.

Facility Information
All practices and Saturday activities are held indoors. Restrooms are available on-site. Please bring a chair, as spectator seating is not available.

Limited Availability
Spots are limited in each division. Registration may close early once a division reaches capacity.

Volunteer Cheer Coaches Needed
Help make this a fun and memorable season for our cheerleaders! If you are interested in volunteering as a cheer coach, please indicate your interest during registration or contact us below.

Weather Cancellations & Make-Up Games
One weather make-up date is built into the schedule. If a weekend of games is canceled due to weather, those games will be moved to the designated make-up date. Additional weather cancellations may or may not be rescheduled.
We will make every effort to complete the planned schedule and appreciate your understanding when conditions are beyond our control.
