Sports leagues and programs are held for children of every age at Orchard Mesa Middle, as we start at age 3 and go up to 14 years old. We are owner-operated and at our home fields on every game day from open to close. We pride ourselves off high levels of communication and organization to ensure no family ever feels lost or confused. N Zone Sports leagues offer children the opportunity to play a sport they love in a fun and encouraging, child-centric environment. We know how crazy life can be for our fellow Grand Junction families, so games and practices are never held on weekdays. Our Saturday morning games allow you to be present for your childs games, stress-free. There are no tryouts or fundraisers to worry about, we look to add value to your childs life rather than take over yours. Regardless of a childs athletic abelites or skills, all players will receive equal and adequate playing time. We believe in a mission of instilling confidence in children and creating an environment where players know it's okay to mess up. Children playing sports in a free and encouraging environment will lead to not only skill development, but also increased confidence that translates off the field as well.

In addition to teaching healthy competition, N Zone Sports coaches incorporate weekly value awards into their curriculum. Every player, throughout the season, earns the N Zone Sports Value Medal award for exemplifying important life values like teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship and effort. This award has become a core tool for helping shape children and fosters a very positive environment for kids to play sports.

We also look to create peace of mind for all our parents by requiring comprehensive background checks for all our coaches who are also N Zone Certified to ensure the proper message of fair play, sportsmanship and other important values are incorporated into coaching strategies.
