Thanks for joining our team! With over 52 branches around the country, Fayetteville proves to be the best one! N Zone Sports All American has 3 missions: get kids to play sports, kids to have fun, support a community to come together in peace. Although we are a fun recreational league, we aim to provide excellent coaching and unforgettable league experiences. Welcome aboard!

Team Coach Responsibilities:
1. Always lead with respect and a good attitude, and make sure to HAVE FUN! What you are doing makes such a big impact on these kids, so it’s very important to make it a fun experience for yourself AND the kids.
2. Make a Group Chat - use whatever app necessary. Our main app is Heja, but please use what is easiest for your team parents.
3. Assign a Team Mom/Parent - At opening day please assign a mom or significant other to manage the bench and the group chat, to help you in making sure all kids get playing time, and all people in the group chats are aware of upcoming events. Ask for their help remembering names, and organization. With that being said, don’t turn any help away!
4. Organize Practices: They are not required BUT highly recommended. Work with your teams to find times and places that will work for everyone. Please be considerate.
5. Show up to your games early! This goes for all coaches and families. If you do not set up weekly practices, you can use the time before games to practice. 15-30 mins is recommended. No later.
6. Equal Playing time: We are here to teach sports, life lessons, and sportsmanship. We are also a fun league. This means all kids will get equal playing time, no matter the skill level. So you may need to be strategic on how to play all your players, using timeouts or turnovers to sub players in and out, but remember it’s important and doable.
7. Awards, Medals, Trophies, Player of the Week – Every week you should be giving two of the kids on your team player of the week medals. COME TO THE CANOPY EVERY SATURDAY!!!! No Exceptions! (NOT FOR MINI DIVISIONS. Mini Divisions will give the whole team their medals on their last week)
8. Plan ahead: If you cannot make it one week, please seek a parent volunteer first and if no one can step up, contact Coach Mike ASAP.
League Expectations
1. NO BLOWOUTS - If teams are up by 5 goals or touchdowns, coaches must rearrange their lineups. Again, this is a fun league.
2. Winning and Losing: Big picture, it doesn’t matter because what’s important is making the experience valuable for the kids.
3. Etiquette for Families and Coachies present at N Zone Events:
  1. DO NOT EVER ARGUE WITH THE REFS! DO NOT EVER YELL AT KIDS! Be fun, Be fair, and most importantly our league isn’t about winning or losing. It’s about letting the kids play sports and have fun.
  2. DO NOT talk about children from the other team. You wouldn’t like some random parent pointing at or belittling your child for an error that they made on the field. With that being said, we are always looking for volunteers to help with the field and reffing. Etc.
4. Equipment: You are more than welcome to practice and use the items on Saturdays, just please take care of them and use them for their purpose. If you need to check out equipment, please
GOOD-TO-KNOWS
1. Happening Now – REFER TO OUR WEBSITE! You will find schedules and important information. Key Event Dates will also be there and they will be emailed to you.
2. Sponsors and Snacks – We always have free snacks for the kids! Either at the N Zone Canopy or the sponsor table. Make sure to let your families know about this.

If you cannot fulfill your duties as coach, let the staff know ASAP. Please do not ghost, no child deserves that.
OPENING DAY - SHOW A MINIMUM OF 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED MEET AND GREET. Use this time to take care of all your logistics.
